As the community prepares for March Madness, the Templars have made a brand new addition to their leadership with Moon joining the team.
Throughout the last few months the Templars have faced numerous negative changes as they recently fell in the weekly top ten after a controversial start to the new year. January saw major legend and leader Xing retire from the army, after an accomplished career. However, soon after controversy followed, and the army was reprimanded for proven multi-logging, receiving top ten deductions and casting doubts over their dominance throughout 2022.
For the second time since Xing’s retirement, the Templars have welcomed another new leader in the form of Moon, in addition to Maddie who was promoted last month. They received a promotion on March 5, 2023, and gave an induction speech for the army.
Moon has been around in the community for some time now, briefly enlisted in Secret Service before moving to Templars on December 19, 2021, and making it her home. She would continue to rise amongst the ranks and with over a year of being an active member of the army, obtained leader status.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to Moon to learn more about how she feels, and what she plans on bringing to the army.
How does it feel to become a leader?
It feels amazing becoming leader; pretty shocking that i was promoted since there was already 3.
What has been your favorite memory so far?
Probably messing around with friends in main chat
What would your goals be as a leader?
Maybe trying to help increase our sizes and becoming friends with our troops.
Anything else you’d like to add?
Hence, we can conclude that Moon wishes to work closely with troops and help grow the army. The promotion comes at an important time, with a tournament just around the corner. It will be interesting to see how Templars perform and if this change in leadership will result in a change in fortunes as well. Do you think the army will regain some momentum? Will Templars continue their amazing run in tournaments? We wish Moon and her army good luck for the future.
