The CPA Community Committee is honored to present the first Fortnite tournament, the Carnage Crusade. It’s been an ongoing idea to bring new games to light within the community, and we’re proud to have individuals compete differently. Trailing from recent polls, we have decided to organize a Fortnite tournament for members to participate in and have fun.

The Carnage Crusade will start this weekend, and fellow Fortnite gamers are eligible to participate.

How to play
The Carnage Crusade will occur within the Club Penguin Armies discord and on Fortnite. For Fortnite, we will be using the no-build game mode. If you are interested in participating, you must sign up with a partner in a respective channel (the partner must be in the CPA discord). We will use an elimination and placement points system for this tournament. Points will be awarded based on your eliminations and placement throughout five consecutive games with their duo. See below for the elimination and placement points breakdown.
On the day of, It is encouraged that duos warm up beforehand. After that, the tournament will commence, and duos must begin their first game by :10 or :40 (for IST) unless stated otherwise. The KDA must be submitted to a tournament head within the appropriate time frame. See below for an example of what we are looking for in the screenshot of your scores. The duo with the most points will be crowned Champions of the Carnage Crusade tournament.
Rules
To ensure fairness and clarification, the following rules have been set below. As this is our first time running an e-sports tournament, we are aware of potential mishaps and mistakes that may happen. We thank you for your patience and consideration as we try this new approach.
- You must have the usernames DrQveen and Rahaima added on Epic Games/Fortnite.
- The registered duo must both be in the CPA discord.
- Dual enlistment is not allowed. You must stick with your registered partner for the duration and not multiple.
- This tournament will run from 3 PM to 6 PM EST (timings will vary depending on how long each game takes)
- Any abuse of loopholes or exploitation will result in an immediate disqualification.
- Any use of third-party services or game enhancements is not allowed (e.g. wall hacking, aimbot, etc.)
- Submitting fabricated KDA and placement scores will result in immediate disqualification.
- Any abuse of bugs/glitches will result in an immediate disqualification.
- If a team fails to queue and/or misses the start time for the FIRST match, it will be considered to have finished in (or tied for) last place with zero eliminations for that missed match.
- If there are server crashes or unintentional disconnections, duos will be able to remake that said match (This MUST be communicated to a tournament head)
- KDA screenshots must be taken in the Replay tab of the game, which states the correct date, time, placement, and eliminations.
- Points will be calculated and given by DrQueen#8613 and Rah#9077. After the tournament, registered teams must ensure their KDA has been submitted for their five consecutive games.
- Late submissions will not be tolerated and will be considered invalid.
- Winners of the tournament will be granted a “Cranage Crusade Winner” discord role and Discord nitro. Other participants will be raffled to another Discord nitro giveaway as well.
We hope this tournament will give members a break from CPA warfare and allow them to enjoy testing their skills in a new game. Good luck to those participating!
