A War on Two Fronts: Templars Declare War on Mercenaries & Strawhats

The Templars of Club Penguin declared war on Mercenaries and Strawhats simultaneously. This incident led the leaders to think the declaration was invalid.

On September 24, the Templars of Club Penguin declared war on the Mercenaries and Strawhats, disrupting the brewing conflict. Despite the war between the two armies, the Templars’ declaration was allowed by the Club Penguin Armies administration due to a recent Army Board meeting reclarifying war conditions. While the Mercenaries initially declared war on the Strawhats, no actual invasion took place thus deeming the war invalid.

This new war almost immediately follows a war against the Special Weapons and Tactics. During the war that saw the Special Weapons completely outnumbered, the Strawhats attempted to join the fray- allowing the Special Weapons to circumvent admitting defeat to the alliance opposing them. However, this attempt was deemed to be breaking the originally set war terms.

Templars declaring war on Strawhats

Currently, the Strawhats own four servers on the server map. With the Templars scheduling two invasions right off the bat, time is of the essence for the Strawhats. However, considering there is no war term regarding allies, the Strawhats have the ability to call up on allies not presently held to treaties with the yellow army. No invasions were posted against Mercenaries as they hold no land.

In order to gain more perspective on the situation, Club Penguin Armies spoke with the Templars’ Leader, Xing.

Why did you declare war?

Because I hate [those who sympathize with bad people.]

Do you think the war will be easy?

Yes.

Are you expecting the opponents to show?

No.

As always, the Templars seem to be comfortable in spearheading another war. What will become of the Mercenaries and Strawhats?
