S/M Legends

The title of S/M Legend is important, as it recognises the hard work of leaders and individuals within this part of the community, being only currently held by 61 individuals; thousands of people have come and gone in this community over its eighteen years in existence. The process of receiving S/M legend is a long process, that sends your name to review by a group comprised of Legends who cast votes. Usually, inductions happen in January of the next year to decide the newly inducted legends for that particular year. Below outlines the process for selecting and inducting legends as of 2023.

How the legend process works:

  • A committee is put together by three acting Legends Committee Heads, one of which also serves as the S/M Manager.  Any legend from previous years is able to be invited.
  • As of the 2023 inductions, the longstanding community vote was replaced with Community Nominees, which allows the community to vote for two individuals of their choosing to be submitted as nominees for the year, alongside the list put together by the formed Legends Committee.
  • The committee will then debate the nominees over a few days, discussing their strengths and gaps. This will be followed by members of the committee voting ‘yes’ or ‘no’ (or ‘abstain’) on each candidate in a private voting room that would be overseen by a minimum of two Committee Heads.
  • In order to be inducted, nominees must have more ‘yes’ votes than ‘no’ votes.

2023 brought headline after headline to a community that desperately needed some action.  Small/Medium armies were largely linked with the major scene this year, mostly thanks to World War IX, which saw virtually every S/M army join forces with the Army of Club Penguin and the Templars to form the Sapphire Concordat- originally formed by the two main players in the S/M scene: the ever-changing Special Weapons and Tactics and the steadfast People’s Imperial Confederation.  Both armies represent two different flavors of the S/M scene, with the former constantly breaking in and falling out of major status, whereas the latter maintained its smaller sizes and focused more on political influence.  Though the two were closely linked all year as the founders of the SCA, they did face off in the lone S/M tournament of the year: Beach Brawl III.  PIC ended up taking home the trophy, which served as a representation of the eventful year they had.

The year of 2022 was, in many ways, a culmination of events and conflicts sparked within 2021. Though rivalry between Club Penguin Army Headquarters and Club Penguin Army Network persisted, a United Media initiative paved the way for numerous independently operated tournaments. Due in part to the end of COVID-19 lockdowns and the closure of CP Rewritten, few small/medium armies survived the duration of the year. With the Army of Club Penguin dropping to small/medium status, Zeus kept the Clovers treading; managing to seize victory at Beach Brawl II.

Zeus would begin his journey in the Army of Club Penguin as a private in May 8, 2021, quickly ranking up to Higher Command in just 2 months after making moderator in October. As Higher Command, Zeus would play a pivotal role in Operation: Vengeance, where ACP answered the call to arms alongside HF, RR and PIC to fend off the Western Bloc consisting of SE, WV and SWAT, which would eventually conclude with a truce with a war score of 23-2-3 after over a month of battling. December would see Jesus promoted to leader, just a little over one month after his debut in ACP’s Higher Command team. In just one month of leading, Zeus would place ACP back as a major contender, facing off against the Templars with sizes of 32+. Fending off against an onslaught of Templars raids in February, Zeus is also credited for successfully transitioning ACP from CPR to CPAB, bringing the army in the first time in CPPS history to solely use an army-based CPPS. Launching Project: Revival in July, Zeus once again showed his tenacity, bringing ACP back to major status once again with just a team of 3 higher command, winning the S/M Beach Brawl II tournament in August 2022. Amid a time of turbulence for ACP, Zeus would give the army stability within the S/M army environment, at multiple points reaching major status. Within ACP, he is recognized for being a recipient of the Bronze Medal Award and holding the record for number of recruits in a week.

This year was one of the more turbulent years in CPPS Army history, as it began with the move from flash to HTML5, which came with numerous challenges for armies. It also included a big split, between armies supporting CP Army HQ and those backing CP Army Network. These challenges made it a difficult year for small and medium armies, with this part of the community limited. However, the Silver Empire had a year to remember as they challenged the top five and became a big player under the leadership of Amber and others. SWAT also did well, as Mare was a key part of the leadership that saw the army challenge major status and help to form the Western Bloc with Silver Empire and the Water Vikings.

Amber first joined armies in April of 2020 when she created the Silver Empire along with her co-creators, Jimmy and Zach. Throughout 2020, Amber’s leadership transformed the Silver Empire into one of the leading armies, seeing them achieve victories within tournaments such as the Beach Brawl, Challengers Cup and Christmas Chaos. Throughout the year, the Silver Empire had managed to reach the major top ten on numerous occasions, contesting large armies like the Doritos, SWAT and Templars along the course of the year. However, success did not stop for Amber and the Silver Empire. Under Amber in 2021, the Silver Empire reached as high as fifth on the top ten on numerous occasions, often placing above historic armies. The Silver Empire was no stranger to war within 2021 either as they were at war with numerous armies, seeing them earn many victories against formidable foes – most notably the Help Force and other members of the Vengeance Alliance in what some consider World War VIII. In a year where many armies have struggled, Amber frequently led the Silver Empire to sizes of 30+ which managed to grant the Silver Empire major army status for multiple months. For all her achievements and success, Amber would see herself be inducted as a Silver Legend. Thanks to the leadership of Amber, the Silver Empire managed to thrive and play a key part in the landscape of armies in 2021 where many other armies failed.

Mare’s army journey began in April 2020 by joining newly reopened SWAT as a staff member. After a brief stint in Golds, she rejoined SWAT as third in command where she made a prominent name for herself. When she joined, SWAT was struggling as a S/M army, however she was able to turn this around quickly by her recruiting skills. She earned SWAT leader in August 2020 which began her long, successful tenure. She would play an essential role in numerous SWAT wars, fighting against ACP and Pizza Federation. Her two most notable war victories were against the Templars and Water Vikings. Their war versus Water Vikings, who were a major army at the time, was known as the Eagre Foray where SWAT maxed an impressive 42+. It was under Mare’s leadership that SWAT established themselves as a consistent presence in the top ten and were awarded major army status. Her approach to leading and determination for success made her a fan favourite within the army and community. Most recently, Mare helped establish the Western Bloc Alliance alongside the Water Vikings and Silver Empire battling against the Vengeance Alliance where they achieved numerous victories. SWAT emerged as the strongest contending S/M army in tournaments such as March Madness and Christmas Chaos besting all other armies within the same category whilst having Mare at its helm. Outside of SWAT, Mare was one of the founders and leaders of One Direction Army who have achieved 25+ and was a constant staple on the S/M top ten while also participating in numerous tournaments under Mare’s leadership. She also created Dua Inn Lipa Fighters in 2021 maxing 30+ and has been a regular feature on the top ten.

For numerous reasons, 2020 will go down in history. The COVID-19 pandemic bought numerous veterans back into the community, sparking the ‘third golden age’ of CP Armies and unity between CPR and CPO armies. This unity came in the form of a merge between CP Army Media and CP Army League, to form a new league – CP Army Hub. It gave unprecedented success to numerous S/M Armies, who would reach incredible heights. The Pizza Federation would be the most successful, winning numerous tournaments under leaders such as Lightningmcj, while the Templars stamped their authority on the community under Freedomist.

Freedomist’s army notability began when he joined Templars in August 2019 and earned leader within a week. In his two months of leading, he was able to defeat notable armies such as Help Force, Aliens, and Royals in wars. After retiring for a while, Freedomist returned to armies in April 2020 and brought the Templars from Club Penguin Online to Club Penguin Rewritten successfully. Under his leadership, the Templars began hitting sizes of 30+ while consistently maintaining an average of 20+. He led until September, helping the army be one of the top medium armies of the summer. His leadership also saw the army beat the Coup Crusaders, Lime Green Army, and Recon Federation in wars. He was able to stabilize the army’s EU division while leading. After leaving Templars, he moved on to the Water Ninjas where he was given leader in October 2020. As leader, the Water Ninjas quickly hit major rankings and have consistently maintained a 20+ max, stabilizing the army. Water Ninjas also reached its highest max ever of 42 under Freedomist. Throughout Freedomist’s leadership, the Water Ninjas have remained on the major top ten and have gone undefeated in many battles.

Lightningmcj has been a significant figure in small-medium armies, gaining this recognition in a relatively short time span. After joining in early May of 2020 with the Recon Federation, Light made his way to the Pizza Federation, following Snork’s assumption to leader. Within less than two months, Light became the quickest Second-in-Command and the fastest climber in Pizza Federation’s history. He was responsible for co-ruling the army’s foreign relations and for spearheading the Small-Medium Army Union. After four months of being in the army, Light became the leader. He led Pizza Federation to two more tournament victories and set new max records for the army. His outstanding work, smart diplomacy, and efforts to expand Pizza Federation’s influence to other games makes him comparable to some of the army’s other legends, as he built on their foundations to make the army even more dominant through 2020.

Armies saw the beginning of the third golden age this year. Armies remained split into two communities: the CPO Army League and leagues such as CP Army Syndicate and the CPA League. This year saw many old armies revived for the new generation and the return of many influential veterans from the original era, as well as a new influx of many new CPA members.

Erika joined Club Penguin Armies in 2019 after joining the Royal Family army. After being appointed leader and 3 leaders retirements, the army went through a rough patch but Erika was there to revive it as she became Queen. Erika also took the lead in many showstopping battles and tournaments notably when Royals and DCP lead three consecutive events at the same time against Redemption Force, in the end maxing 60+ as an alliance. Erika also lead the army to new heights after rebranding and forming new alliances earning 2nd place on the Top Ten. All the way up until the end, Erika continued to push the army forward and strived to promote the best for not only her fellow leaders but also the troops. For all her continued efforts as an integral part of Royals, Erika has been inducted as an SM Army Legend.

Mehak first joined the community in June 2019, as a member of the Royal Family. She quickly rose up the ranks and was handed the baton of Leadership in September 2019. Alongside other Royals Leaders, Mehak built the Royals to become an SM Powerhouse. A regular in the SM Top Ten, the Royals continually reached sizes of 25+ under her Leadership. Mehak was also appointed as one of the first judges at the CP Army League, and soon became the only Trusted Judge of her time. Mehak’s contributions to the community had not gone unnoticed as she was then invited to serve as the Board of Directors at CP Army League in May. Due to her hard work within the erstwhile Royal Family, Mehakk has been inducted as an SM Army Legend.

Brooke entered the army scene when she joined Royals in 2019. She became a leader in August 2019, and with the combined teamwork of Erika, Marissa, Haley, and Lydia helped lead Royals through a great summer, bringing them to record-breaking maxes recorded in the low 20s. Brooke also worked closely with fellow leaders in the NAA alliance during that summer. She stepped down in October of 2019, due to personal reasons, but came back in March of 2020. She came back as an advisor but quickly rejoined the staff team. During her return, she helped Royals max a consistent 20 max. She also helped with alliances with many armies such as SWAT, Elites, and Ice Warriors. She continued to lead Royals until its closure in June of 2020.

Bp is a well known army leader of Aliens. His journey first began when he joined Help Force in June 2018. He was quickly promoted to moderator in September, and had ranked up to 3ic before he stepped down in April 2019. It was at that time that he was made co-owner in Aliens and had decided to revive them. Though Bp did not have much leading experience, he was still able to slowly build up aliens to become one of the greatest ausia armies in CP Army League. In June 2019, Aliens were maxing 5-10. In August 2019, Aliens started seeing maxes of 20+ and eventually became a major army. Right before Aliens demise, the army was seeing maxes of 40+ consistently. After this, Aliens leadership had seen some difficulties which led them to becoming a S/M army and were then shut down. Due to Bp’s dedication and success in leading Aliens, he has been inducted as SM Army Legend.

Retro first joined armies in 2018 during the middle of World War VII. He joined the Pizza Federation and would rise up to become a leader by November of the same year. Throughout 2019, he led continuously. He became very notable for his leadership by late 2019 after taking part in the New Viking Alliance. His very tolerating and friendly leadership style has been well regarded by the community even to this day. He is best known for creating PZF’s family side of the army and keeping it alive since. Retro would continue to lead the army through 2020, where they made their biggest impact on the S/M community, winning numerous tournaments such as the Fright or Fight in October. They would also be on equal footing in a war against major army SWAT, winning numerous battles. For the armies incredible ability to challenge even the major armies, Retro is a S/M Legend for 2019.

Teaska first joined armies in late December 2018 in CPO when he was recruited by the Pirates. He eventually created Royals in March 2019. In May 2019 he left Royals to lead Shadow Troops, but that only lasted for a few weeks and he returned to be a leader for Royals. Teaska left Royals sometime in the summer and returned to be a leader in March 2020. Due to Teaska’s dedication and experiences, he was able to lead Royals to be the top S/M army. His career with Royals was ended when we shut the army down this month, and is currently a commander in SWAT. Due to his experiences and journey in CP armies and contribution to S/M armies, Teaska has been inducted as a SM Army Legend.

Greeny began his army career in the small army known as the Barbarian Empire. He left his first army to create the Lime Green Army, and subsequently defeated BE in war. Greeny has led every generation of the Lime Green Army since it’s foundation in 2013, while having stints as leader in other armies such as the Takis and the Cherries, two armies that teetered between the CPAC top ten and the SMAC/SMAP top ten. LGA found it’s first consistent success in 2016 with the introduction of the server map, quickly becoming an imperial force. Greeny capitalized on the success by merging into the Rebel Penguin Federation, thus joining the RPF leadership. RPF rose to become the top army in the twilight of Disney’s Club Penguin with Greeny in the leadership. He also went on to lead the Doritos before the death of the original CP. In 2019, Greeny returned with a bang by founding the Club Penguin Armies organization as well as leading the first CPPS generation of the Lime Green Army. He was instrumental to the success of LGA, quickly garnering the respect of his former army RPF. LGA became a huge player in warfare, despite only maxing around 20 on their own. The army often found itself on the outside of major status, but were able to hold their own against the major armies of 2019 and held a good chunk of land on the map. As administrator, Greeny’s main claim to fame is his part in maintaining communication with CPOAL, playing an important part in the early grounds of unification. His dedication to the army community, as well as his prowess in foreign affairs, has given him the title of S/M Legend in 2020.

Snork joined the Templars, who were in CPOAL at the time, towards the end of 2018. He climbed the ranks of the army, becoming 2nd in Command in a relatively short amount of time. The Templars leadership made some decisions that Snork and others disagreed with, and this resulted in the Templars being kicked from the New Viking Alliance. Snork had had enough, and gathered up like minded individuals to create the Winged Hussars, who quickly joined NVA. They played a part in the Templars Exodus War, that saw NVA win, thus earning the Winged Hussars their independence. Snork led the army to become one that stood the sands of time. After they were banned by CPOAL, they joined Club Penguin Armies. Snork was well known in the community as the face of the Winged Hussars, who were viewed as a promising army that was slowly building in numbers. Eventually, the Hussars fell in size and merged into the Pretzels in the Fall of 2019. Snork joined the leadership alongside Cena/Colin, and the Pretzels became a serious force in the S/M community. The addition of Snork to the leadership saw the retention of new recruits skyrocket. The Pretzels frequently engaged in wars, most notably with the Templars, who had joined CPA, and the Lime Green Army. They won both wars while consistently maxing 20+. Snork was also recognized as a prominent voice when it came to reformation in the Club Penguin Armies organization, regularly giving out constructive criticism and helping moderate the chat. Snork’s rise to prominence in the community demonstrated his qualities as a well-respected and loved leader, who used his skills to take multiple armies to heights that many S/M armies aspire to reach. Snork was chosen as a S/M Legend in 2020.

SagaSage, or just Sage, made headlines in the Club Penguin Rewritten community with his army known as Mopia. Mopia began as a rogue group that quickly developed into a hangout, and soon after joining the Club Penguin Armies organization. Mopia instantly became one of the most electric armies in the community due to their rapid style of warfare. Sage was the main innovator behind the genius, as well as the spokesperson for Mopia in the community. Sage pioneered the idea of voice chat leading on Discord, which allowed his army to outpace just about every other army in the community. The army was also known for their intricate word tactics and formations. Viewers were always in for a visual treat when Mopia took on another army, as they put on a tactical masterpiece every time they took the battleground. Mopia became a huge success story as the first CPPS army to rise to such heights of 30+ and a big presence on the map. Sage was also known as voice of reason in the community, playing a big part in many rule changes and communications with CPOAL. Towards the end of the Summer of 2019, Sage made the decision to shut down the Club Penguin branch of the Mopia community, citing the hostility they’d received from the Club Penguin Rewritten admins. Although Sage and his army were short-lived, it is undeniable that he was an innovator of the CPPS army community, and his rapid rise to success with Mopia can never be forgotten. Sage is a S/M Legend for these contributions.

This year saw the transition to the primarily S/M based community into a community with more major armies. This year saw the end of Romans’ first CPPS generation, revivals of the UMA, a revival of the Pirates, and formations of armies like the Pizza Federation, Templars, and the Help Force. This year also saw the rise of the Elite Guardians and the Templars, two armies that would become major status, which would be the key armies who would rise against the Rebel Penguin Federation, leading to one of the biggest wars in CPA history: World War VII.

Ray el Rey (known as Ray) first began his career in 2014 by joining the Dark Warriors. He was removed due to inactivity, however. He returned in 2017 after being recruited into the Romans army. He was known for documenting his entire career and known for his ability to quickly catch on and rank up. By January 2018, he was promoted to Romans leader by Twitchy543. Under his leadership (and with his co-leaders), he rose the Romans army to prominence during it’s last stretch within the community at this time. He was able to successfully win a war against the Club Penguin Crew and was able to see many success in battles against the Underground Mafias Army during the UMA-Romans War. He would then go onto become an administrator within the Club Penguin Army Syndicate in March 2018. He would return to the community in summer 2018 to help co-found the Nova Phoenix Corps and help lead it for it’s short existence. Due to this, Ray was inducted as a 2018 S/M legend in 2020.

Mason Cooper began his CPA career in 2017 by joining the Underground Mafias Army. He quickly rose the ranks of the army and would become the second-in-command by January 2018. After the War Against Ehroyals, he staged a coup against the UMA leader, Ehroyals81. This coup started the UMA Civil War of 2018, splitting the army into two factions: New Underground Mafias Army (led by Mason) and Eastern Hancock Underground Mafias Army (led by Ehroyals). After a period of war, they reunited and became one army once again. Now with a new leadership, Mason became the face of UMA during February 2018. He was regarded for his successful leadership within the army due to his stern personality and get-it-done attitude. Due to this, Mason was inducted as a 2018 S/M legend in 2020.

Chelpopkick began his career in early 2018 after joining the mostly rogue-based army, the Pizza Bois. This army was very popular within the CPR community. However, the organized aspect of the army began to dwindle and on April 30th of 2018, Chelpopkick helped begin a rebellion against the army. He would help co-found the Pizza Bois Rebellion (now called the Pizza Federation) and would be voted as their leader. Despite his often dictatorial leading style, he led the army during it’s dark first months and era, known as the “2007” era. The PZF performed poorly during the 2018 Summer Tournament, causing fellow CPA Legend Cobra to join the army as an advisor in July 2018 and modernize the army. With a newly modernized army, Chelpopkick would begin a new era of the army, leading it to prominence and notability within the community. He was well regarded for his dedication to leading the army. He would join the Red Dawn Alliance to fight in World War VII. After the war, due to his notable leading skills, he was given a role within the Nova Phoenix Corps and merged PZF into the army. However, after 3 days of leading, he retired. His leadership and founding of the PZF would form a long lasting legacy within the S/M community. Due to this, Chelpopkick was inducted as a 2018 S/M legend in 2020.

Cobra first began armies in 2013 by joining the Rebel Penguin Federation. He would remain on and off in armies until November 2017, when he was recruited into the Dark Knight Empire. He quickly rose the ranks to become the leader by the time of the War of Roman Subjugation. During this, he would fight the Romans and help found the now legendary New Viking Alliance. After the war, he left the Dark Knights and lead the NVA in the War Against Ehroyals in January 2018. He also assisted Elmikey in operations against RPF in the RPF-RPM War. After spells in CPC and Romans, he would restart the Dark Knight Empire in February, before merging into Romans. His career saw it’s first true success, bringing Romans to reach military heights and S/M size heights that were uncommon before this time, paving the way into being deemed “Most Influential Leader of 2018”. He would close Romans and not return until the summer of 2018, becoming 2ic at Templars and a key player in their diplomatic relations, helping to lead the Templars during the early days of World War VII. He would then become advisor in the Pizza Federation and the Elite Guardians [EGCP], before switching from Templars to EGCP high command, acting as leader (and would be inducted into their hall of fame). He would help found and be one of the five main leaders the Red Dawn Alliance during WWVII. His military plans were well regarded by both Templars and EGCP, which would help the RDA victory against the RPF. Cobra would go onto advise several armies and remain as acting leader in EGCP until his final stretch in armies in 2020, a final leadership spell with Romans. Cobra would go onto become an administrator at the Club Penguin Army Syndicate in March 2019, creating the legendary league formula adapted from Twitchy543’s league which would go onto be used in later leagues to this date. Cobra was also extensively involved in the CPA wiki during 2018 and early 2019, returning again late 2020.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

The final year of the original era of armies, 2017 saw the transition into CPPS armies by armies such as the Underground Mafias Army and the Rebel Penguin Federation. This year saw the revival of the Romans for it’s first CPPS generation, as well as the formations of the influential New Viking Alliance and Elite Guardians. However, most armies would be plagued with S/M status until the following year, where armies would see a surge in popularity. This year also saw the final CPAC Legends Cup, resulting in a Nachos victory under the leadership of Cookky2 and others.

Cookky2 first began his career in 2015 with the Water Ninjas, however, he was removed for inactivity not too long after. In July 2016, he would join the Nachos. By fall he was in their high command, and would become Nachos leader by January 2017, going on to win. This was due to his well regarded recruiting abilities, which would carry onto into his leadership of the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin in October 2017. During his time in the Nachos, he would go onto win the last Legends Cup ever hosted on the original Club Penguin, against the RPF and Light Troops. After forming the Elite Guardians with Edu14463, he would soon help rise it to peaks within the community, being one of their main recruiters, he would help rise Elite Guardians to be the top S/M army of the time, reaching sizes into the 30s at time, which was never accomplished by a single S/M army since the beginning of the CPPS era. EGCP would fight the War on EGCP Imperialism, and succeeded, as well as saw major success in the First Great Holy War. Cookky’s warfare leadership was tested during World War VII, as he would have EGCP join the Templars in the war. By this time, EGCP reached sizes ranging from the 30s to 60. He would help found the Red Dawn Alliance and be one of the five main leaders of the alliance. After their successful war, he would remain on and off in the army, returning to recruit at times to sizes of 50.

Ehroyals joined armies in 2012 by taking part in the Light Troops and at one point the Blue Miners Army. He was active in LT until March 28th of 2017, where he and Zeke/Fudge revived the Underground Mafias Army. This revival is credited as the inspiration for the S/M community and several other revivals of armies within the community for the CPPS era. This revival is also credited for spearheading the creation of the Club Penguin Rewritten Army Central news site by Eden. During Ehroyals’ leadership, he led UMA to sizes into the 20’s, which was rare for armies at this time. By fall of 2017, UMA reached an all-time low and merged into Romans, which was also founded by Ehroyals as well as others such as Smurf and Zeke/Fudge. UMA would return again under his leadership and would see a civil war after the War Against Ehroyals. The civil war was split into two factions: the New Underground Mafias Army (led by Mason Cooper, a UMA second-in-command) and the Eastern Hancock Underground Mafias Army (led by Ehroyals). After uniting once again, he would lead the army until it’s closure in February 2018, reaching S/M sizes. His final time of leadership was in the summer of 2018, achieving sizes of 20+ during this time.

Manifest Red joined armies in spring 2017 by enlisting within the Rebel Penguin Federation. However, not too long after joining, she would help form the United Republic of Penguins with the likes of other former-RPF members. During her leadership from May to August, she was known for her controversial takes on armies and methods of attacking fellow armies and army members. Her time in URP proved to be very influential on the later parts of 2017, having kick-started a new era of anti-RPF sentiments. Despite not reaching large sizes, Manifest Red led the URP to a pedestal that was uncommon at the time and is uncommon to this date. Due to this, she was inducted as a 2017 S/M legend in 2020.

Thomas had his first experience with armies in 2009, after attending a Nachos event as a rogue. His career would officially start in October 2016 after joining the Nachos officially. By February of 2017, he became second-in-command of the army. In May, not too long after the Nachos closed down, Thomas would form the Cocoa Warriors and lead it for a month, reaching sizes well into the 20’s before it was defaced. He would then revive the infamous Club Penguin Crew in November of that year. He managed to lead the army to sizes within the 20’s and had a minor competition with the Rebel Penguin Federation. The army’s downfall began when they lost a war against he Romans and was defaced and taken over on January 31st of 2018. He would soon leave the community afterwards. His intense family based and recruiting leadership style was unmatched by most armies at this time and would be one of they key factors to Cocoa Warriors’ and CPC’s dominance and notability. He would rejoin the community in the summer of 2020 and would take part in the Water Vikings and the Golden Troops as leader. He would leave soon after, however.

Smurf first began his career in 2010, having served some time in the Army of Club Penguin, the Nachos, the Underground Mafias Army and Water Vikings. However, he would leave the armies by 2015 and wouldn’t return until 2017, by joining the Rebel Penguin Federation. After a while, he would leave and rejoin the Underground Mafias Army. He quickly rose up to leader and would later help reform the Romans (and merge UMA into them) with supervision from Djgtjvgyhxgy and Twitchy543 in October 2017. As UMA returned, he did not return to them and continued leading the Romans. During his leadership, he was noted for his recruiting capabilities, having it being very exceptional for most S/M leaders at this time. He would lead the Romans during the War of Roman Subjugation against the New Viking Alliance. After this war, he would continue leading the army, with more leaders occasionally being promoted and fired. Smurf would help lead during the CPC-Roman War, UMA-Romans War, and the War on EGCP Imperialism before leaving the army to lead the Kings. He would soon retire and not return until 2019. When he returned, he took part in the Army of Club Penguin once again. He would also help revive the Romans twice (October 2019 and July 2020) and lead during both generations for a period of time.

Ulysses Nardo began his career in 2011 when he was recruited into the Army of Club Penguin. He would later create his own army in 2012, called the Onlooking Snow Ninjas, and it lasted for four generations, maxing 30 at its height. The OSN was a community-focused army and hosted innovative events that added new and exciting elements to the standard army events to make them more fun and engaging. Nardo also spent time in the RPF, Arctic Ops, Global Defenders, and Pink Ice. In 2017, Nardo became a Club Penguin Army Central writer shortly before the closure of Club Penguin. After the closure, he would unretire by rejoining the RPF in the Spring of 2017. He also got hired by Club Penguin Rewritten Army Central and worked there until it died. Nardo would eventually go on hiatus, but would later return to form the Club Penguin Democratic Union of Armies, an early league-styled server. From there, Djgtjvgyhxgy would notice him and make him a leader of the Romans army in the Fall. Blaze was one of the most important members of 2014 S/M Armies. Before this year, he was an active member of the community at CP Army Focus, helping to bring the site to more viewers than it had previously reached. Because of this, it reached the attention of Bluesockwa1 at CPAC, who brokered a deal with Blaze to form SM Army Press. Around this time, Blaze was leading the Redemption Force into greater heights, sometimes even breaking into the CPA Central Top Ten. Blaze, perhaps, will be remembered as the single most effective person of 2014, leading the Redemption Force to dominance and bringing SMAP to be a #1 SM Army News Site as its first CEO.

Superaalden, the Fluffy Sheep, is a very notable figure of the AUSIA community who served and led the earliest AUSIA armies known to the community. He became the AUSIA leader of the Army Republic during its golden age, an army which he dedicated his time and loyalty to throughout his career, thus eventually bestowing him the esteemed title of Legend in the Army Republic. On October 2013, he formed the Greek Sheeps, an army inspired by Greek mythology. It remained a close ally of the AR, aiding it in numerous wars, including a salient World War between the New Dawn Alliance and the Justice League Alliance, which was the most significant war of 2013. Fluffy Sheep’s influence in the AUSIA community served as leverage in AUSIA invasions, beating even major armies such as the RPF and Water Ninjas even in their prime. As part of the JLA during the World War, GS served as JLA’s only AUSIA force, hence playing a critical role in JLA’s victory. The Greek Sheeps managed to consistently be in the upper echelons of the SMAP Top 10 as well as enter the CPAC Top 10 on numerous occasions despite being a solely AUSIA army, and the CPA community still having minimal AUSIA members in the year 2013. The Greek Sheeps was awarded “Fastest Rise”. He has later conferred the title “Person Of The Year” by SMAP in 2014.

Vivek is well known for a majority of reasons. One of those is for creating the Smart Penguins of Club Penguin leading it’s AUSIA to a major standard before the army merged into the Golden Troops. Vivek then continued to help the Golden Troops advance in size, leading an AUSIA division that rivalled ACP. He is one of the main players in the AUSIA Division of Armies and to his name, he holds magnificent sizes that he has managed to get for events.

Wyoskguy experienced his first taste of success way back in 2010 when his army Elite Marine’s ranked 7th in SMAC’s Top Ten and later maxing 20 however this achievement would be insignificant to what Wyo would go on to achieve in later years. One of his most notable armies was Team Blue, which he led  in 2013 and within the first month of bringing the dead army back from the grave, they became a prominent figure in SMAC’s Top Tens continuously placing in the top three. Wyoskguy also led Chaos in the summer of 2014, leading them to their biggest ever sizes and helping them to become a consistent medium army, even beating SWAT in a war.

Bepboy9 is most known in the small and medium community for his dominant success in the Water Vikings. Before WV reached major standards, in their early generations, Bep was able to keep them at the top of the SMAC Top Ten and win numerous wars against fierce competitors. Bepboy9 was also well known for being one of the most successful CEOs at SM Army Central at two different points, most notably when hard competition against SMAP came along as well as being Secondary Head at a once popular CPAE news site. Before WV, Bepboy9 led the Oreos who reached the top of the S/M community at one stage.

Grant42 was the original SMAC Head of Site, though he didn’t create the site. Sklooperis created SM Army Central but decided that he didn’t have enough time to run the site so he posted applications for someone to take over the site and after Grant commented with an impressive application, he was given the job. Grant was one of the most successful CEOs that Small and Medium Army Central have ever seen, as well as the small and medium community as a whole. Not only did he have success in SMAC, but he also led a high-ranking S/M army called the CP Aviators that reached amazing heights until they merged into the Rebel Penguin Federation.

Jayden is most known for creating and leading the former legendary medium army, Water Ninjas, to successful heights. Sidie9 is most known for her advancements of the “Ausia” division; this is because she was able to create one of the first AUSIA armies which was the Army Of Darkness. After this, Sidie went on to lead the first ausia divisions throughout the year of 2012 such as army union, an army participating in many SMAC tournaments despite time disadvantages. In the armies which she owned, she managed to train Ausia soldiers – like Superaalden – to become an extremely successful leader. After being considered as one of the best Ausia leaders, she was made the Ausia leader of the GT and the ACP. Sidie is one of the main Ausia leaders and is very successful at leading armies, as seen when leading the ACP’s Ausia division.

During his time, Pungy1234 was one of the faces of the small and medium army community. He created the Global Defenders, the army which he is most known for leading, in February 2011 originally under the name of Penguin Militia, however, their name soon changed due to it being blocked by CP’s filters. The GD started off as a rather small army, but eventually grew into the reason that Pungy is a legend today. Global Defenders were one of the most known medium armies at the time, and they even managed to reach the CPAC top ten on a few occasions. One thing that made the Global Defenders so unique was their complicated, but successful, government that proved small and medium armies really can be professional. Apart from his role in the GD, Pungy was also CEO of SMAC for quite some time.

Alex Cone has enjoyed success in many small and medium armies, most notably the Sky Troops and Snow Warriors. His hard work and continuous dedication that he performed whilst leading the Sky Troops paid off when they reached the top of the SMAC Top Ten. He led the Sky Troops through many wars and won some big SMAC tournaments. He is also known for leading the Cone Heads, another successful small and medium army, and for his work in SM Army Central. The Snow Warriors had great success in the small and medium army community, and Alex became a very influential figure during his leadership. Sensei Dan3 was one of the most prestigious leaders of the 2010 era. Sensei Dan3 was one of the few who highly emphasized the expansion of recruiting beyond Club Penguin. Sensei Dan3 reimbursed the recruiting tactics involving youtubers, cheat sites, and trackers. He was able to lure in several recruits in his army where he founded the Lightning Strikers alongside Walf Six. However, his real breakthrough was with the Delta Troops where he has led them beyond and into the major army top ten. He spearheaded the Army Alliance Pact that was used to prevent smaller armies from being crushed by bigger armies. Sensei Dan3 also assisted in developing new tactics such as the “scatter bomb” and “side rakes” which are still used to this day. Without Sensei Dan3, the community would’ve never been the same.

Rishron is most known for revolutionizing AUSIA divisions in the small & medium army community. His Elites came out victorious in many wars, including an early Doritos army and Icy Troops, two massive medium armies of it’s time. Despite having one too many recreations, the Elites under the Supperz was their golden era, frequenting as a dominating power that would leave behind a strong legacy.

Though retired, Riotors is still remembered by many in this community for what he has done. Not only this, but he was also recognised as being one of the first ever leaders to create a legacy news site, known as CPA Insider, but he later joined SM Army Central and managed to work his way up to CEO. Riotors still remains a very respected person in this army community.

Sklooperis didn’t lead very many small and medium armies in his time but he did however still change the small and medium army community. Sklooperis created SM Army Central in 2010 and although he did not create any of the pages or do any of the work in building the site, with the exception of hiring the first group of staff, he deserves small and medium army legend status simply for founding SMAC who were, and still are, the most successful small and medium army news site of all time, changing the small and medium army community.

The rise of the first generation would prove to not be much compared to rises that would happen in later generations when Braveboy led the Pretzels to the top spot in the SMAC Top Ten numerous times with sizes upwards to 20 as well as reaching major standards a few times. Braveboy is considered one of the main factors for the Pretzel’s successful history.

Slimball2007, better known as Flipmoo, started his career as a Club Penguin cheats blogger in 2007, whilst briefly holding an interest towards CP armies. Upon being a rogue for a while and leading a premature IMAF for some time, he decided to move on from cheats to armies in 2009. The Impossible Mission Army Force had thus started to grow and had bonded with many medium and major armies existing during that time. Their reign continued, reaching as high as #4 on the major army top ten at one point. Their impact aided the growth of other medium armies and had become an influential army until Flipmoo retired from armies in 2010. IMAF had since then gradually started to decline, though was still well known by the community, especially because of its top-notch graphics. They were eventually declared dead in 2012, but their legacy remains untainted and cherished since all recreations have been declared invalid. Flipmoo later returned to armies in 2013 and eventually achieved Person of the Year 2014.

Spice Ice116 joined CP Armies and created Team Gold on the same day, March 9th, 2009. He led the army to great heights in the following years, being a constant presence in the CPAC Top 10. It wasn’t easy for Spice, he was still a young leader leading a big army, and during the golden era of army hopping. Many big name members of the community would simply join Team Gold for owner rank just to improve their portfolio, but nevertheless, Spice persevered and Team Gold would stay in power and Spice’s efforts inspired generations of leaders.

Harvin13 is well known for being a leader of the UMA, but he also created the Purple Heads in 2009. Both armies under his leadership were medium at the time, but the Purple Heads were a consistent medium army under his leadership even though UMA was at one of it’s weakest points. Even still, he persevered and pushed both armies. The Purple Heads would hit their golden age under the leadership of Riotors, but he was by their side guiding them the right way. He created a legacy in medium armies with the Purple Heads and proved his determination with them over and over again.

He can be considered one of the main factors in Puffle Warriors’ success over their three year life time. Kingfunks4 was also eventually SMAC Secondary Head and led other medium armies like the Federation, Pretzels and the Water Vikings.

Blueswill joined armies in late 2006, starting like many people back then, in the Army of Club Penguin. Blueswill himself was a natural born leader, and instead of staying in the ACP, he left in early 2007 to create the CP Clones, which would turn out to be one of the longest lasting medium armies to come out of that time period. Blueswill took the CP Clones and rose them to a decent size and always kept them at medium power throughout most of their history and as more leaders came and went, he stayed. CP Clones ended up landing CPAC Top 10 sizes from time to time with Blueswill by their side and he didn’t officially retire from armies until the summer of 2011 after CP Clone’s largest size where they maxed over 35. Throughout his time, Blueswill was in 3 armies, ACP to start, CP Clones for life, and a brief stint as AR leader.

The idea that recruits could enter Club Penguin Armies from cheat sites brought new hope for the size this community could reach. This idea later influenced much expansion among Club Penguin Armies.

Icy Fresh 2 is the original founder of the Club Penguin Army which was created only three days after the creation of the Army of Club Penguin. Icy Fresh 2 also led the revolution of armies using WordPress as he was the first to ever use the web hosting site. Icy also enjoyed success as a Club Penguin cheats blogger and while his army didn’t necessarily survive as long as he had hoped under his leadership, it did certainly have a significant early impact on the community and the army continued on without him for years leaving a legacy behind it.
