The Mercenaries see a new leader joining the leadership, as Fudge is promoted to becoming the army’s tenth Commander in Chief. It will certainly be interesting to see what he brings to the table, and how the army performs under him.
A while back, Midnight, the founder and one of the current leaders of Mercenaries announced that Fudge would officially be joining the leadership alongside him and Da Best. Mercenaries as an army reopened under new leadership at the beginning of this August. With a new leader being inducted now, we are excited to see how the army functions and how it will do in the coming future.
Fudge joined the army community in October 2020, as a Water Vikings troop. He climbed the ranks fast, entering the staff team in the Summer of 2021. At the beginning of the year, he departed the Water Vikings, joining the Secret Service. Fudge also joined the Ninjas in July, joining the Mercenaries after Ninjas’ eventual closure, finally becoming leader a month later.
To know more about this promotion and his future plans, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Fudge for an interview.
How does it feel to be a leader of an army?
It feels great, I never thought I would be in the position I am now! Of course, I have still got stuff to learn but time will tell.
What are your future plans for the army?
My plans are to help Mercenaries reach the top 5 and just grow over time! And making the army a fun and safe place for new troops.
Given that the army just reopened only recently, which areas according to you need the most work at this point for the army to make it to the Top 5?
I think the areas that need more work are recruiting and being active.
If there’s one thing that you look forward to as a leader, what would that be?
Leading events more, I have led events before but now I can do it most of the time. And just seeing the army grow.
It seems like Fudge is all set to make the Mercenaries reach greater heights! We wish him, and the Mercenaries, the very best in all their future endeavors. How do you think the army will perform under this leadership? What has Fudge got in store for the army, and what can we expect from him in the future?
