People’s Imperial Confederation Take Hiatus

BEANIE, People’s Imperial Confederation Capital – Recently, the People’s Imperial Confederation has gone into a hiatus. But what exactly does this mean, and how will it affect their plans?

On February 21st, the People’s Imperial Confederation witnessed a change in leadership, as seen in “The Beginning of a New People’s Imperial Confederation Leadership Era.” The change saw Sam, Lizzie, and Maya rise to Commanders-in-Chief to help Hidcre. Unfortunately, the change impacted the army’s size heavily, leading to a hiatus announced on March 13th. However, it does not seem to be the end of the army. They are one of the longest-going small-medium armies in Club Penguin Private Servers and seem to want that reputation to keep going, even while they are busy. Seeing a shutdown would be unfortunate, and the hiatus’ aim was likely to detour such an event.

A recent People’s Imperial Confederation event before the hiatus

The reason that PIC went into hiatus is simple: real-life issues affected their activity and performance. Commitments like school and family are catching up to them, and it seems that they want to focus on real-life before focusing on the People’s Imperial Confederation again. Sometimes, life is a challenge, and armies don’t make that challenge any more straightforward. Being able to host and attend events is also tricky when their real-life commitments increase.

Announcement - People's Imperial Confederation hiatus

CP Army Headquarters reached out to Lizzie and Sam for statements on the hiatus.

PIC is on a hiatus right now because the leaders are very busy with things in real life and we just need some time off to plan and prepare new things and soon everything will be back to normal!! We are going to do loads of fun events and those sorts of things 😀 and PIC needed a break. I think all of us needed this little break but just because we are on break it doesn’t mean we are not active anymore. All our members still talk in mainchat and we interact with everyone to keep activeness. Soon, we will open again and do events – Sam, People’s Imperial Confederation Leader

It’s too early to tell at this moment. None of the Commanders want PIC to shutdown as the army means so much to us. It does have a chance, due to the fact most armies do have history of shutting down after hiatus, but me and my fellow Co-Commanders want to make sure that it doesn’t happen – Lizzie, People’s Imperial Confederation Leader

As both statements show, Lizzie and Sam did not give any indication that closure was imminent. Instead, they seem to want the server to keep doing well even in the hiatus, with activity in chat and other ways to interact with troops. They aim to use the hiatus to get ready for a rise. With the motivation of three previous generations, it is likely to see the leaders come back re-energized for the army. They are determined to make this generation a good one again. It is a difficult task, but they believe the hiatus will give the necessary rest to fulfill the desire. Either way, the army receives the best of luck from CP Army Headquarters and hopes to see them return soon.

PIC is willing to take on this hiatus! And hopefully by the end of this, we will have amazing events!

  3. […] The People’s Imperial Confederation was created in October 2019 by Sidie9. After multiple generations and wars, they return once more. During its very first generation, PIC fought against the Army of Club Penguin, unfortunately losing the war because of its size. Later, in their second generation, they aided the Rebel Penguin Federation in World War Rewritten, declaring war on ACP. While no victors were declared, PIC’s determination was there for all to see. The army has had many highs and lows since then, most notably in its third generation. In 2021 they gathered a maximum of 40 penguins for Legoman’s retirement. This took the army to a new height as it was consistently maxing 15-20+ before this. However, the end of the army was near and in February 2022 they announced their indefinite hiatus. […]
