CP REWRITTEN, United Media Headquarters – The ‘AUSIA Arena’ Semi Finals have come to an end, which of the four competing armies have made their way into the grand finals next weekend?
On the 5th and 13th of February, the semi-final rounds for the AUSIA Arena took place. We have now witnessed both of these insane battles, in which four of the strongest armies have battled for the opportunity to win the tournament. Let’s take a look at how the two battles went and which two armies will be facing each other in the grand finals.
Rebel Penguin Federation vs. Templars
The battle between the Rebel Penguin Federation and the Templars has concluded with a 3-0 victory for one side. It started relatively close between the two armies, but shortly afterwards, the Rebel Penguin Federation took the main advantage with high speeds and effective size and formation choices.
The Templars did their best to keep up, but fell short due to being covered quite often and having slightly weaker formations, which was not enough to match the Rebel Penguin Federation’s consistency with pacing and activeness. The battle ended with a dominant performance from the Rebel Penguin Federation, winning all three rooms.
Winner: Rebel Penguin Federation
Ice Warriors vs Help Force
Due to CP Rewritten downtime, the battle between the Ice Warriors and the Help Force had to be postponed from the 6th of February to the 13th. When the battle did take place though, it was very close. It began even with both armies both having similar speed and size throughout the entire first room. Each army had one aspect in the room that gave them a slight edge over compared to the other with the Help Force having slightly neater forms and the Ice Warriors having more diversity and variety with tactics, thus the room was declared a tie.
The second room started off strong for the Ice Warriors as throughout the room, they had maintained consistency from the first room with high tactic variety. The Help Force were slow at first, but towards the end of the room they had picked up speed with tactics and bombs and got into very strong formations. The second room went to the Ice Warriors.
The third room was another toss up with the armies tiring and formations from both getting sloppier. The Ice Warriors tended to have weaker bombs while the Help Force appeared to have more ‘AFK’ penguins. The Ice Warriors picked up the pace with a neater formation, but because the majority of the room showed both armies having strengths and weaknesses, the room was deemed a tie. The battle was close, but due to the Ice Warriors having the edge over the Help Force in the second room, it ended with a victory for the Ice Warriors – winning the battle 1-2-0.
Winner: Ice Warriors
This concludes the semi-final results, and we have clearly seen how each of the four armies truly gave their all to earn a spot in the grand final next weekend. But now, only two armies remain: the Rebel Penguins and Ice Warriors. Here at United Media, we would like to wish both of these armies the best of luck.
