Get To Know Your CPAHQ Staff – Max, Associate Director

KLONDIKE, CP Army Headquarters – In this week’s edition of getting to know your Staff of CPAHQ, I have chosen Max, who is currently one of our Associate Directors.

Welcome to another edition of ‘Get to know your CPAHQ Staff.’ This week, I have decided to go with Max, who is currently one of the Associate Directors at Club Penguin Army Headquarters. Max joined the CPAHQ Staff team as an Editor and the Top Ten Committee Manager, pertaining to last year, November. On December 12th, 2021, he was promoted to the position of Editor-in-Chief, and it was at the beginning of this year, that he was made an Associate Director of the league.

Max joined the army community back in 2010. In 2013, he was most well known as a Pirates leader for a while. Fast-forwarding to 2019, he re-joined the Army of Club Penguin enlisting as a private rank and worked his way up to 2nd in command, in February of 2020. In June of 2021, Max was inducted as the Commander-in-Chief in the army. He got the position from being there as a temporary leader and helping them out wherever they needed. Max then retired from the position of Leader that he held in the month of July 2021.

I had the opportunity to talk to Max and know his thoughts on what it is like being an Associate Director for a league and media organization.

So what’s it like being an Associate Director for CPAHQ?

It’s awesome! I haven’t been here long, but I have experience working as an administrator for the entirety of CPAH’s run, so I’m excited to bring all my ideas to the CPAHQ team and serve the community well this year.

Do you have any favorite memory within the community?

This would definitely have to be the 2021 Community Pride Parade! We were able to get CPR’s blessing to host it and have almost every army attend to champion our special LGBTQIA+ members. I’m excited to go bigger and better this year.

Do you have any plans to help achieve your goals, while being an Associate Director?

I think my main focus is improving the quality of army interaction this year and hopefully bringing about some level of unification within the community. I really do believe we are stronger when we work together and look after one another.

Do you have any encouraging words for those who wish to become staff in CPAHQ one day?

Working in a media and league organisation isn’t for everyone, but it’s incredibly fulfilling for those that enjoy interacting with people and hosting community-wide events. My only advice would be work hard, be patient, and learn from those around you.

In the brief period of time that Max has been around as staff of CPAHQ, he has been nothing but helpful and kind to not only his fellow staff members but also to the community at large. He has achieved so much, in the army community, and we can’t wait to see all that he has in store for the CPAHQ team. We wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors.
