All Dried Up: Wet Army Penguins Announce Shutdown

SNOW DRIFT, Wet Army Penguins Capital – After roughly five months of activity, the Wet Army Penguins suddenly announced their closure. This leads to an important question: What led to this decision?

The Wet Army Penguins was created on August 7th, 2021 by Pandor and Toxic Storm, originally as a joke/meme army however they would develop a positive reputation across the community. Despite it’s short lifespan, the army still accomplished several achievements such as getting in a war with the Special Weapons and Tactics, and recently winning another war against the Trojans.

On December 19th, Pandor announced the shutdown of the army and the ceasing of all their activities. However, none of the leaders mentioned in the announcement any particular reason that could explain the army’s shutdown. On December 23rd, they held a final event before officially closing their doors and maxed thirteen penguins.

With the hopes of learning more about the closure, the Club Penguin Army Network Team contacted one of their leaders, Pandor:

What led to the sudden shutdown of the army?

No time amongst [the] leaders, plus [the Secret Service] revival

Is there a possibility for a second generation?

Yes but not [at the moment]

What was your favourite moment in the army?

Maxing 23, and beating Trojans 3-0 on the same day

It seems like we won’t see this army for a long time. Nevertheless, it doesn’t mean that they won’t make a comeback ever again. We wish the best of luck to all the Wet Penguins during the path they may take! As always, Club Penguin Army Network will keep you updated with all the latest news.

What do YOU think? How long will they remain dormant? Could they make a comeback? Make sure to tell YOUR opinion in our Discord server’s general chat!
