Rising To Power: LEGOMAN retires, Hidcre new Commander-In-Chief

BEANIE, People’s Imperial Confederation Capital – As the year comes to a close, the People’s Imperial Confederation wave goodbye to Legoman, and hello to Hidcre. What will this change bring to the army?

The People’s Imperial Confederation was created on October 17th, 2019 by Sidie9 and Sirproditor. This year in particular the confederation were able to gain significant publicity, due to their wars against the Golden Troops and Post Malone Army in the summer, as well as the Water Vikings during autumn. Elsewhere, they finished this year’s Challenger’s cup at second place, while consistently scoring positions within the latter half of the weekly Top Ten.

On December 16th, 2021, it was announced that Legoman would be retiring from Club Penguin Armies at the end of the week. At the same time, Hidcre would join the leadership team following the revival event, succeeding the former in leading the Confederation. The retirement event was held on December 19th, 2021 where the Confederation was able to max 40 penguins.

Sidie9 announce the retirement of Legoman, and induction of Hidcre

Legoman began his journey in Club Penguin Armies by joining the Dark Warriors in March 2020. From there he joined the Ice Warriors, where he created a colony famously known as the Legoman Army. Upon leaving the Warriors, Legoman joined the Templars and Crystal Cowboys as Second-in-Command and Leader respectively, before finding himself as leader of the Special Weapons and Tactics in February 2021. He would then joined the Confederation’s leadership in August 2021 upon leaving SWAT.

Hidcre joined the army community in 2017, when she was recruited into the Rebel Penguin Federation. She would remain with the until she came across the Pizza Federation in the following year. Hidcre would work her way up to leader, before ultimately retiring from army activity in September 2020.

PIC at Legoman’s Retirement Event

We spoke to both Legoman and Hidcre about their changes in roles, and it means for their futures

Legoman:

What led to your retirement from PIC?

I retired from PIC because my smoldering biceps needed a break from the strenuous activity that comes with leading a Club Penguin army. I had accomplished some grand feats in PIC, including breaking the generation max record twice in one week, getting to CC2 finals, revamping graphics, leading through a month long war and a world war and obtaining legend status within the army. Also I need more free time to get bubble tea with Peyton.

Do you feel you have left an impact on the army?

Most certainly. My impact on the People’s Imperial Confederation is undeniable through any lens you view it. Whether from a surge in activity in the voice chat from the day I joined, the numerous war battle victories against armies that have far predated PIC, or even my graphics that will stay on the website for all time to preserve the impact of all of our former leaders and legends.

What are your plans for the future?

I’ll stick around in this community through media, and of course I’ll return if my presence is needed in PIC. I would not be opposed to experimenting with advisory positions within other armies in the meantime and seeing what I could do to enhance their current environments. Perhaps my podcasts will soon resurface as I have some ideas. I also of course intend to purchase LEGO Star Wars the Skywalker Saga and increase my deadlift PR. Only time will tell.

Is there anything else to add?

Enjoy this holiday season, it is easy to lose yourselves in the fantasy of armies as I once did, but never sacrifice anything in your real life for armies as you will ultimately end up regretting it. This community should be a path for you to experience nostalgia with those who used to love Club Penguin and not a platform for exhibiting toxic behaviors. Life is short, so don’t take this community too seriously, penguins do not define your destiny. Make friends, have laughs and don’t forget that this is supposed to be fun. As always, HOO RAH!

Hidcre:

How do you feel now that you’re leading an army again?

Well, for this army specifically, I’ve been friends with the leaders for a long time so it feels like I can just laugh along the days and make the army more of what they want it to be. Keeping the same community, laid back and just more active.

Do you have any plans for PIC?

Much more activeness, the friendliness is already there for sure, but it can become more (funny for memes) alive, that’s all the plans I have for now at least.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I’m saying this multiple times until I see a barb or a lil nas x fan in my dms. cwalling awl barbz cwalling awl barbz

From this it seems Legoman felt that it was time to depart, allowing Hidcre to fill the void left in the Confederation’s leadership. Club Penguin Army Network wishes Legoman the best of luck in his future endeavours, and to Hidcre in her new leadership role.

What do YOU think? Is this the last we’ll see of the handsome Legoman? Can Hidcre bring more activity following a year long break? Let us know YOUR thoughts in our Discord Server!
