SNOW STORM, CP Army Network Headquarters – The Wet Army Penguins saw a familiar face return to leadership over the weekend. How will this return impact the army’s future?
The Wet Army Penguins were founded on August 9th, 2021 by Pandor. Throughout the course of the month they established themselves as a well known meme army, going as far as to win the Best Troll Army award in the recent Night of Debauchery celebration. Although the army is only a month old, Wet Army Penguins grew to meet sizes of 10 consistently. As a result of this, the army successfully rose to the outskirts of the Top Ten, recently achieving #11.
A recent WAP event
On September 19th, 2021 – Pandor posted an announcement in the Wet Army Penguin’s Discord Server. The statement disclosed Smithy’s return to leadership, alongside the addition of Da Best and Krosive as Leaders in Training.

Smithy was recruited into the Doritos of Club Penguin in January 2020. During his tenure he rose up to staff before leaving in October to join Red Ravagers and later Fire Warriors. After departing from armies temporarily in December 2020, he returned to Doritos of Club Penguin in February 2021, working his way up to HCOM. Soon after he left the Doritos in June, and roamed around various armies before settling with the Templars as HCOM in August.
Whilst serving as a Templars HCOM, Smithy revived the Brits of Club Penguin as a side project towards the end of August, which subsequently merged into Wet Army Penguins in September where he joined as a leader. Smithy has now returned to Wet Army Penguins leadership after a short break from the army.
CP Army Network reached out to Smithy, to see what he has in store for the army.
What led to your return as Wet Army Penguins leader?
The army had just improved and kinda fixed itself, and I knew I could rejoin and improve it even more.
Moving forward, what can we expect from the army?
Top Ten appearances, map appearances, tournament appearances and plenty of events.
What’s your favorite moment in Wet Army Penguins so far?
It was probably when Trojans decided to raid our events over a joke.
