Dreading Defacement: Red Ravagers Suffer Attack

UNKNOWN TERRITORY, Red Ravagers’ Nation – In what appears to be a completely unexpected attack on the Red Ravagers, their chat and website suffered defacements. Who is the culprit and what actions can we expect the Ravagers to take?

This is a developing story, more information will be added as time goes on.

The Red Ravagers were created by Max and Honda in May, 2020. The army primarily consisted of ex-Dark Bandits troops, reuniting under a new name. Since creation, the Ravagers have been known to be a consistent force in the small/medium world, primarily reaching sizes of around 5-10 per event. The most recent shakeup in the army included the retirement of Baileybear and the promotion of Bomobuddy, which can be read about here.

Unfortunately, two weeks into Bomobuddy’s leadership, the army has suffered an attack on their server and website. Many channels and posts were deleted, as well as many, many members being banned from the server. The reason for the attack currently remains unknown.

Concerned community members wondering what happened throughout the night

In an announcement written on July 18th, 11:41 am BST, former leader MermaidBri confirmed that the server was in fact defaced, as well as included how people can reclaim their roles and get unbanned. Despite not mentioning who exactly is responsible, Bomobuddy confirmed to a Club Penguin Army Network Editor that it was Scorpion Demon, a former leader of the Ravagers and current legend.

To find out more about the defacement, Club Penguin Army Network reached out to Baileybear, current Advisor to the Red Ravagers, for a statement regarding the why’s and how’s of the defacement. We also asked Bailey what plans the Ravagers are going to implement to solve the issue and prevent future defacements. Bailey did not provide any statement.

As of the current moment, not much else is known regarding the defacement. As always, if more information is brought to light then Club Penguin Army Network will keep you up to date.

What do YOU think? Will the Red Ravagers bounce back? What do YOU think is the reason behind such a cruel act? Voice YOUR opinions in the public server!
