KLONDIKE, CP Army Headquarters – After closing down in December of last year, the Secret Service have announced that they will be returning for a new generation with some new leaders. What led to this revival?
The Secret Service was created in October of 2020 by TD999. It was led by TD himself, alongside ToxicStorm and JoelFreak. The army quickly rose to greatness, getting in the top 3 in the S/M Top Ten in under a week. They didn’t just stop there, the next week they took the number one spot on the S/M Top Ten, just two weeks after creation.
They also took place in tournaments, like the Aces of Ausia and Christmas Chaos. Furthermore, they held 3 pieces of land at once in the Club Penguin Army Hub server map. However, all good things must come to an end as they shut down on the 15th of December last year.
However, just a few days ago they announced their revival and on July 3rd it took place. This generation, lead by TD999 and Dman64w saw 19 penguins at their revival event, a big achievement for an S/M army.
To find out more about their revival, CPA Headquarters reached out to Dman for a quick interview.
Why did you decide to revive the Secret Service?
There was always a plan to revive SS after it closed. We were just waiting for the right time, which happens to be now!
What are your goals for the army?
Well as we know, the previous gen managed to achieve #1 on the S/M top ten in just a few weeks after opening. I’m hoping that we can re-establish that by one day finding SS on #10 of the Top Tens.
How do you plan on achieving said goals?
First we need to establish a decent sized max by transforming SS into fun, loving community, and I guess from there it’s a case of keeping up the activity
Is there anything else you would like to add?
It seems that the army is ready to soar to great heights, just as their previous generation did. Dman is confident in the army will do just as great if not better than the previous generation. Only time will tell if this once-dominant S/M will be able to uphold the expectations that their leaders hold for them.
