Army in Focus : Army of Club Penguin

KLONDIKE, CPA Headquarters – Welcome to the first feature of the newest Monday column, Army in Focus. In this column, we put an army under a microscope each week and look at either their success throughout the week or their failures. This week we’ll be looking into the Army of Club Penguin. How successful was their week?

The Army of Club Penguin was the first-ever army of Club Penguin (hence the name) and was formed by Oagalthorp. Soon after, the Underground Mafia Army was formed and from it, the Rebel Penguin Federation, some of the most successful armies in the history of Club Penguin. After its initial shutdown, Mchappy, part of the ACP Panel of Guardians, contacted Chainpro and they decided to reopen the door to the army. It formally reopened on September 29th, 2019, even joined by the Rebels, to welcome them back.

This week, the Clover Army celebrated ACP History Week, where they held events for some of the most important key moments in the Army’s history. The week was kicked off with “Colour Wars” which is a throwback to classic wars which were fought with snowballs, and not how they are fought today. They then followed by holding events for four key moments in the army’s history, the first being a battle versus their historic enemies i.e Romans, UMA, and the Nachos. Followed by the Invasion of Fog against the Night Warriors, and then the Birth of the AUSIA division. The final of the four was The Coup D’etat of the ACP Leadership.

The final events of the week were all about historic battles, the first being the Black Alliance vs White Alliance, following this was Order 67, then World War Rewritten, afterwards the Holiday Championship Victory Battle, and finally, a battle against the Templars to end the week. The History Week was evidently quite eventful however, their success doesn’t end here. In the latest CP Army Headquarters Top Ten, the Clover defenders took the top spot, marking the first time they got the number one spot on a Top Ten since November 1st of last year.

The Army of Club Penguin has certainly had an action-packed week, filled with multiple events, whilst also teaching recruits the history of their army. Congratulations to the army for their success this week, and on getting the top spot. Which army will we focus on Next week? Will it be about their success or failure?

Such a cool theme from ACP this week. Must say that I was definitely following what throwback events they did.
